Biotec (BTK) is an Italian dental implant manufacturer operating primarily in the European market. The BT Klassic line is a cylindrical implant system; the External version features an external hex connection, ensuring compatibility with a broad range of abutments and standard surgical protocols. External hex is a well-established connection type in implantology, familiar to most prosthodontists and dental technicians. The library is designed for exoplan — the implant planning module within the exocad DentalCAD platform. Dental technicians or implantologists load the BiotecBTK_BT_Klassic_External_plan.zip file into exoplan, gaining access to implant and abutment geometry, virtually positioning the construct, and designing surgical guides or prosthetic restorations. The system is used in private dental practices and dental laboratories working with Biotec BTK products.
